There's been a lot of changes with the band. So i thought i'd get some of it down.

The band originated as a drunk idea at a party Rich Dean Edd and Hannah went to. Originally called "The Drunken Kids" they started the band after Edd Rich and Dean all bought instruments and learnt them in record time. Edd managed, in his quality has friends in every field of everything, to find a mate who had drums that he was giving away for free. The only downside was that they were sparkly red. Anyway, I came across to the garage one time (I live opposite Rich) after hearing the music. I did'nt know Dean or Hannah, and i only knew Edd from about 7 years previous when i used to play football with him.

At this point the band were called Inertia and had a few songs to their name, the ones i can remember were Superhero, Too Drunk To Remember, an old song called Stuck At Home which was cut when it was decided that it was pretty weak.

Anyway, at college i was told that in Communication Studies we had to promote a real life organisation. I chose the band. So the past 4 or 5 months, i've been drafting ideas for album covers and eventually after quitting a previous band due to my inability to drum, i started again because Hannah was the first person i had actually seen play the drums other than pro's on the TV.

After a while, and a few times i had stepped in for Hannah when she wasn't available for band practice, i decided i wanted to be a part of the band. Eventually the band started heading in a more punk direction and it was decided that I should be the new drummer.

Roughly around this point it was found out that there was some weak Dance act called Inertia, so the name was changed to Ablaze.

A month or so in to the change of name we had our first gig at the School Talent show. And hell yes we rocked the joint.
We did a cover of Ricky Martin's Hero , which then transforms into Carousel by Blink 182. Sorted. We were the only act to get a standing ovation i might
add. heh.

Now we decided to change the name again. Ive learnt all the drums to every song. And we've written a new one. Practice tonight, and it wont be long before we're playing live again.
